Isolate from a UK-resident adult Nigerian woman who spent two weeks in Lagos with her husband. On return to the UK, symptoms arose, and the patient reported taking two tablets of Nivaquine (probably 200 mg chloroquine-sulphate) four days before presenting to UCLH with 3.2% peripheral parasitaemia
