Isolated from T. rutilans in Cameroon by JM Bafort in 1974. In Antwerp, passaged x2 in mice. Frozen stabilate sent to Edinburgh 24.10.1977 by Marc Wery, Antwerp. Passaged into mouse 1EG, frozen stabilate 2/11/77; G surdaster 2EG, frozen stabilate 4/11/77.
