Isolated on the Kinga river near Kamena, Katanga from Anopheles dureni millecampsi by JM Bafort in 1967. Taken from Antwerp, Belgium, to Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine by J.M. Bafort, thence sent to Edinburgh 02.10.70. Passaged into mice; stabilates made 5/10/71.
