Reagents
Standard malaria reagents are available for the work of the global malaria community. Reagents are available to all bona fide malaria research groups. Costs of reagents are outlined in the ordering section of this website. Please note that we operate on a cost-recovery basis to maintain the repository, so charges may vary with time and reagent availability
Available reagents include:-
- Plasmodium falciparum clones and lines
- Rodent malaria parasite lines and clones
- Monoclonal antibodies to P. falciparum antigens
- Recombinant Plasmodium proteins
Protocols specific to individual reagents, and more general protocols on standardised malaria assays are available from the repository protocols section. Protocols and software have been supplied by the repository, by members of the European Malaria Vaccine Development Association (EMVDA) and by members of the OPTIMALVAC consortium.
